Looking for something a little different for your next event?
Get your group up and dancing with a fun, friendly Lone Star Line Dance experience! Whether it’s a birthday party, hen party, corporate event, wedding, celebration or just an excuse to get everyone together, we’ll bring the music, the moves and plenty of fun.
No previous experience needed! Our sessions are suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to experienced dancers. We’ll guide everyone through the steps at a pace that’s easy to follow, so you can relax, have fun and enjoy dancing together.

Tell us what you love to listen to and we can tailor the music to suit your group. From classic country and modern country hits to pop, rock and other favourites, we’ll create a playlist to get everyone moving.
Whether you’re planning something small and relaxed or a big celebration, we can tailor the session to your event.
How a Line Dance Party can work
We have taught Line Dancing at all kinds of events, parties and celebrations and can help you make yours the talk of the Honky Tonk
We find that private classes work best when the session is broken up into shorter sections, giving everyone plenty of time to learn the steps without feeling rushed.
A typical hour might look like this:
🕺 Learn a dance – around 20 minutes We’ll teach you the steps, break them down and give everyone plenty of opportunity to practise before putting the dance together with the music.
🎵 Short break Time to catch your breath, have a chat and get ready for the next dance!
🤠 Learn another dance – around 20 minutes We'll introduce a new dance and work through it together at a comfortable pace.
Depending on the length of your session and your group, we can usually teach 2–3 dances per hour, while still allowing plenty of time for everyone to learn, practise and have fun.
No pressure, no experience needed — just come along, listen to the music and enjoy yourself!
Whether you're organising a party, corporate event, wedding, hen party or simply getting a group of friends together, we'll tailor the session to suit your group and make sure everyone has a great time.

Private line dance sessions are £125 per hour for the first 2 hours, giving you plenty of time to learn, practise and enjoy the experience.
For sessions longer than 2 hours, additional time is £75 per hour.
Our rates
Minimum booking: 1 hour
First 2 hours: £125 per hour
Each additional hour: £75 per hour
Travel: A travel fee may apply for venues more than 30 miles outside Edinburgh city centre.
We’ll confirm the total cost, including any applicable travel fee, when you enquire about your event.
